As UPSC is a concept-based exam, rather than directly moving to advanced books, it is imperative\u2002that you know these basics.<\/span><\/p>

After NCERTs, books\u2002like M. Laxmikanth Polity, Spectrum Modern History and Ramesh Singh Economy should be brought in step by step.
